Morrissey: "I want to be used. I want to be used."

Just to show I throw nothing out. Mint condition too! From the October issue of the recently deceased Smash Hits. Just think there are people now ovulating, who weren't even born when this was first published. I'll start reading the newspaper under the carpet next.

Just testing this posting. Photos aren't coming up on clicking. If anyone is as anal as me, I'll add a transcript on request.

This folder is empty.

It's spring! The sun is finally shining - on the cracks of my broken heart.

been in my head intellectually this winter, I'm practically a book. I'm officially chainsmoking now, expensive I know, for all sorts of reasons. [Perhaps they sell fags on ebay? Actually buy something useful. Dreamt this morning I went to Venice, with you know who. I know dreams are dull, mine are incredibly detailed, I even bought handmade decorations made by the hoteliers ugly daughter. The one who dropped us all in the Grand Canal taking too tight a turn on the vaporetti. What does that signify? Course there was all the usual surreal stuff, like walking across the ballroom at the Palazzo Rezzinico on trampolines suspended mid-air. X had to work, admittedly at more historical premises than in reality. Felt v.jealous of the customers who all went for his Ming the Merciless look, though I know on waking that he's been in the thrall of the incestuous pair of Mike Skinner lookalike brothers recently.

I know it's just the rythmns of something or other, my gentic code is wanting to get spliced literally, and we know we've been there before, havn't we? [I'm talking to myself at this point] So get back in the box, my bleeding heart, I busy eating an easter egg.

[It is a diary, after all!]

Same old, same old.

Interesting to read the blog of a recent commenter, and to be reminded what it is to have a social life.

http://www.punki.co.uk/

Last trip out, was with my brother!, where he felt the need to explain my profession was being boring, when I didn't realise the lady chatting me up, was doing it for her friend nearby. What happened to - "My friend likes you."

I should be getting Broadband back, having been stuck with Dial-up since I mucked up the direct debits. Blogger refuses to uplaod anything unless I am using someonelse's pc, when I don't have access to my picture files. Hence the paucity of my entries.

Stinking cold, but I did see Mark Owen at the end of my road, when I stumbled to the chemists for lemsip. Oh and one of my dogs picked a fight with Orlando Bloom's dog in the park. The other one's on heat, and he's being a male chauvinist. "Looking at my bird are ya?" Wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't only about a foot and a half long. She meanwhile, after bleeding all over the duvet [no it's not a rosebud print] is now humping everything in sight in frustration. Know how you feel girl.

He's Back!

I can't tell you how happy I am to hear that my beauty role model is very far from deceased - don't listen to the internet, it's full of misinformation.

David Hoyle will be performing his one-man show "SOS." at The Royal Exchange Studio, Manchester on 27th May 2006. Tickets £8.50.

"David Hoyle's Show of Shows is inspired by Seaside Specials of the 1970's, with sensational songs, complex choreography and in-depth conversation. SOS is an autobiographical, inclusive experience with topical references and flashes of spontaneity. Come along to share an evening of mutual discovery. David Hoyle is an artist. His medium is often himself so he has many faces, most memorably The Divine David. Supported by Queer Up North Studio.

Director, Sarah Frankcom, Costumes by Sandy Powell, THE Sandy Powell?"

When will I learn?

Nearly a month between posts? That's bad, not that you may care for my confessions. Bloggers seem to reveal the same failings. Mine? Have a cold and have used my time recuperating by spending a month's income on ebay in one afternoon. No stress is great for a cold, don't you agree?

Bewitched?

You know, something struck me as very familiar when watching Rosanna Arquette's new NBC series "MEDIUM."

Glam blonde working mother, with inconvenient supernatural powers, small children, husband tight-lipped about said supernatural powers.

Case Study #314568 "The Long Story"

Well, I'm really struggling for items of interest. It's 00.33 and upstairs neighbour seems to be disassembling a wardrobe [well it's sounds like it] in the communal halway, that's 1m x 2m. trying to get my attention d'ya think?

He's just stormed out of the house after treating me to some more wicked basslines. I only go out this time of night to get fags from the petrol station, maybe he needs condoms?

For the last few years he's been charm incarnate, but perhaps due to the usual effects of african medicine, he's been rather paranoid of late. I have had to accept recently, that I'm blind as a bat first thing in the morning, and after a suprise visit from X and his large hairy dog to my tiny flat, I just scooped up the post and followed my visitors in. Against the usual burble re X's hairy straight neighbour putting the make on him, and the hairy neighbour's siblings drugged meanderings via Gaydar, I realised that the manilla envelope I'd just ripped open wasn't a yet another bargain from ebay, but something from Custom and Excise for him upstairs.

A serious matter I know, but I wasn't prepared for the paranoic ranting I recieved when he finally deigned to check his post. The man leaves piles of his post unopened for weeks in the tiny communal hallway. [Picking up the tiny theme yet?] Don't get me started on how the heaps of junk mail are some how my sole responsibilty to remove.

After subletting it [illegally] for two years while he worked in the states, he returned to take forcible repossession of it one evening without warning. Before that I'd put up with an enormous Nigerian couple, who loved to get intoxicated, dance, and fall over. Unsuprisingly this brought down the victorian ceiling below, that turned out to have been repaired, after a near miss bombing during the war, with CONCRETE. I had only just left the room when it happened. V. September 11th. It toook an hour before the dust started to settle and I could see into the room.

Since he's moved back it'had been pretty quiet till the incident with the post, apart from the odd suggestion over the years that I swap flats with him so he could have the garden that comes with the flat I'm in.

All this sets my nerves on edge, as before I moved here I had had to move twice because of harassment. Having been in a therapeutic community in the naive belief there was such a thing as "getting my head sorted out," I was considered to vulnerable to be rehoused living on my own. [He's back.] The first place was a complete culture shock having just come from an Arts and Crafts mansion in the wilds of suburbia. Big Brother can seem very familiar.

The new house itself was pretty unremarkable, yuppies moving in either side to remove all traces of the previous Jamaican occupants. They obviously didn't catch the recent show at the Geffrye Museum. [Basslines back on] "The Jamaican Front Room." Next door had an extension obviously built on over the years, no straight angles, exposed beams all tacked onto a three storey Victorian terrace house. It wouldn't have looked out of place on the set of "Lord of the Rings." There were four other residents, a religous jamaican girl, and a very thin waynetta and me on the top floor. The next floor down had a mute black guy and a real East End gangster-type whose only sign of life was chuckling to himself.

It was all pretty quiet during the day when the staff occasionally visited, but the nights were when the joint was jumping. By now I was aware that alcohol would cut out the effects of the medication that most of these people were on. Evenings could be pretty sticky. There was a regular visitor, I nicknamed "buggered with a chairleg" after having been told countless times about the act that led him to be in prison for murder. I can't remember why I was threatened with having my face slashed, surely not for being a supercilious queen! This was the place I first met the worker who has since been threatening X with murder, and crying wolf to the police. This after coming out of rehab for heroin, where he met Anorexic Joanna Lumley, whose Yorkshire Terrier X and I looked after, and led me to my getting two of my own. It's a small world!

The next 7 months was spent in a private psychiatric clinic care of NHS overcrowding, in a rapidly emptying hospital in Hammersmith. It's cavernous lobby, and Art Deco architecture meant it was ideal for filming, and to pop to the shops meant negotiating various filming crews. One time I passed Hwyel Bennet consoling a tearful bride next to a tank full of rubber lobster, while extras wandered around in old fashioned stripey pajamas and flannel dressing gons, all clutching hot water bottles. I think they were filming "Sliding Doors at the same time, mostly filmed at night, so that you'd leave the building at 11.00pm to lighting outside bright enough for day. Apparently it's more consistent than actual daylight. The last weekend I spent there, they spent ALL DAY filming an ambulance brake suddenly in the car park with a patient on a gurney shooting through the windscreen. Think that was for Channel 5.

The next place was even hairier than the last. I'd taken the room recently vacated by the local psychopathic african medicine dealer. He'd really made the place party central. Wall to wall hot rock burns throughout. He wasn't able to let go of such a great venue, and it didn't help that he was shagging one of the workers. Things had obviously got too hot for waynetta from the last place, but this agoraphobic heroine discovered her retinue of elderly Irish alcoholics were no more welcome at the new gaff. I was already persona non grata, called "Cecil" for having been caught watching C4.

It's amazing how intolerant the completely anti-social can be. Can't tell you how little Pride was appreciated when it was held nearby that summer. What happened to the credo of excess and hedonism? I lost count of days I came downstairs to find the kitchen full of punters from the nigh before glaring at me, all v.posh and tickled by how far they were slumming it. I may sound naive, never having lived in student digs, but don't forget I was stuck there as being too vulnerable to live in my own place.

After nights having my doorframe and furniture vibrate from the volume of music coming through three fire doors, and three floors down, things came to ahead when psychopathic drug dealer informed waynetta that she was lowering the tone with her ancient alchies, and it could affect how long the ladies of the night he had brought over would be prepared to stay. Fisticuffs ensued.

The police proved as ineffectual as ever unless provided with extensive video footage, and self -incrimating written statements by everyone concerned. After being assaulted after the police left, I felt I had had enough of the encouragements to top myself and let someone who wasn't a pervert occupy the room, and departed.

They best they could come up with was a house for those with "learning difficulties." Not much to report, apart from a resident falling down the very steep stairs to his death, the one evening I wasn't there. I was in the top floor garret for the third time, and used to stare out at the Orient Express as it flew my window, the track being level with the roof line, and only as far as the end of the tiny garden. How much further down the hole was I going to follow the white rabbit?

Then I ended up here. But that's another story. A long way to explain why I'm such a nervous wreck at the moment. I did have to fight my initial response, to superglue his lock and set fire to my place. And no, I don't have a history of arson. No prior convictions me. I'm sorry if this all sounds so twee, I was certainly made to feel so, having any expectations of civilised behaviour, and not let's get competitive about how out to lunch any of us are. The whole situation started from me fleeing packs of passive aggresive anorexics in suburbia.

The drawing? I've cut all my hair off again, arranging my fringe to hide my rapidly rising hairline in a way approved of by X was just becoming too dispiriting. The drawing is of a photo taken the first time I cut it all off. don't know where I went wrong with the mouth.

"Note to Katherine's Uterus" Will this do? The only highlight of todaywas my mother demonstrating her chicken oufit for her next production. Thought of slightly fictionalising my forays into prostitution, but's that's such a cliche, isn't it girls?

OHMIGOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you can remember the days when Pete Burns was cool 'cos he wore Dean Bright's purple dressing gowns the same month they were in the Face, well check out this entry on Lady Bunny, or perhaps not. Link below.

Not safe for lunchtime, you may lose it, your lunch I mean.

What's that smell?

Well, I don't know what to say. I'm beginning to wonder if I died and just haven't realised. No wait, that's Nicole kidman in "The Others."

Was in court yesterday, as witness in the continuing saga of mystery person's lovelife. Glad we were on our way out when a legal looking person came up to the two gentlemen we had been sitting next to for quite a while, and said "but you ARE down as being connected to Jamaican drug lords."

Went to see a friend who hasn't washed or dressed for nearly three months now. And I felt bad about not blogging. It's supposed to be good for your mental health now. Don't think a juicy libel case would be though.

Thinking of sending a valentine card to ex's dog, just to stir things up a bit. Though the last time I spoke to him an ex-colleague had gone bunny boiler on him. I've seen this situation develop before. Bless him, he does have a certain charisma, and nutters love to project their self-hatred on him, especially when they realise they won't be gathering a following like his.

Been working on the parody blog, working title "Sunset Bitch" main character "Sharon Stroke." Problem is, a blog is all in first person, and it's hard to see how to work in all the other characters, to flesh them out a little more than background shadows. Got a wonderful profile pic though, from a site covering partial masks for transexuals.

Other than that, unless they would allow a civil partnership with my dogs, there's nothing else really to report.

Ta ra Kleverkloggs.

Tis the season to be jolly............

Yes Jimmy, I spent the season with Madam Ex, and his new "host." His new LADY friend has enough handbag to support the style he grew up with back in SA. Having to wait till 10.20pm for my dinner didn't help my mood, while they chortled over his idea for a new hygeine product, the "wank poncho."

In other news, my brother has become a punk at the age of 36, and the mantle of Madam Pompadour has been taken over by my dear old ma, who dreams of a world tour of care homes. Better be careful she isn't mistaken for a resident of Shady Pines and forcibly medicated, not that she would mind. Magic mushrooms at 58, I ask you.

Love to all my readers.

I am beginning to wonder if this is some bid to subvert ebay, at the prices these artefacts are going for, perhaps delivery is in person!

MM: What about your old clothes? Like that outfit you wore in the ‘Happy House' video?

SS: I’ve still got them! I have, I haven't thrown them away. Maybe they’ll go up for auction for something like Greenpeace. My Mojo invitation has gone on the auction site for Greenpeace and it’s gone up to a few hundred pounds. That’s why I need a big house, somewhere to store all my old stuff! My leather outfit with my thigh boots (‘80-’81) actually went to Madame Tussauds. They made a dummy of me. I had to go and get fitted, and they had to measure my eyes and they had these pincers and you think you're gonna get your eye pulled out! And actually you see the eyeballs that they’re gonna give you. So I think early on they had me in my leather but I’ll have to ask them ‘Have you still got my outfit?’… ’Can I have it back?', ‘What happened to the dummy?’

Fab interview with the lady herself. I wish somebody had taken me to the original production of The Rocky Horror Show at 14!

Untitled............Unfinished?

Let's get back to Paradise
Where it all began
Where all the harps played
And the arias were sung

Revel in the lights
From the lamps as yet unborn
Where the sun is high
Like the end of dawn

I wanted to suprise you
Are you guilty now?
Dou you smile inside
Where you don't know how?
Paradise had faded, has died away
The music hall is empty
And the walls are decayed
Paradise has faded, has died today
Do you smile still
Waiting the delay?

Lower yourself to me
Get that string in your mouth
Pull it to release, go lower to the south
Let me genuflect like I did on the heath
Get through the forest
By the skin of your teeth

The red-filled gates so pink and ready
At your disposal if your tongue is steady
Go through before it's too late
Dinners in the oven
Dried on the plate

Do you taste well?
Is your tongue rewarded?
I ate good yesterday
When I could afford it

I have your face behind me
I have paid my dues
You're my private dick
Giving me inside clues

Paradise resumes without a quibble
Sunlight fills his hole
With floss for his teeth
And with those juices
Should I run for a bowl
or let him dribble?

I am in glory
But the floor hurts my knucles
He wipes his mouth
After all the suckles
From his stiff upper lip
My curly is gone
Consumed, past noon
Like a buttered scone

I stand erect
And rub my knees
Feeling the trickles
like tingling fleas

Even has arrived
I've another to see
Whose into the fruit
Eaten by the animals
Who swing from the trees

He'll provide the banana, me the split
Paradise re-entered, and grooved to fit
And just when I thought it was going to be too late
I'm on my knees, so open is my gate

This is what goes
What I do sometimes
Where the games are fun
And the sides of the back are parted
Where the buns are flattered
And the juices flow

This is what goes
When the music has started
What I do sometimes
When the music is started

A friend, the mad poet, was found at the bottom of a tower block this spring. the last time I spoke to him I put the phone down on him when he told me he had burnt all the work he still had. At his funeral the comment was made "I'm sure we all have something of *****'s [poems] at the back of a drawer somewhere.] As it's unlikely any of his work will ever be recovered, let alone published I have posted this poem here.

I've been sorting out my cd collection tonight, sad I know but it was threatening to landslide. I finally faced the remains of Mad Poet's cd collection left to me. Mad poet was well known for his impromtu renditions of Madonna, and as her latest album somes out this week, I will be thinking of him.

I'm no expert on feminine dignity, and I missed the Parkinson show on Saturday, but caught the trailer. As athletic [skinny] as Madge is now, get those bingo wings. Are the skinny not excused either? In the video there seemed to be more than the usual thrashing about too. Check it out yourself. I'll llearn to hyperlink one of these days.

Not much to report. Been away a few days, highlights include being the only one to realise after 24 hours, that missing cat was under floorboards, during building work. Came home to message from R.S.P.C.A to report that everything was fine at Faded Beauty's.! Well, no Christmas cards from them then. Beppe comes from Naples apparently, Madam Ex waiting to be bumped off.

COMPARE AND CONTRAST

Well ex and hairy neighbour have finally done the dirty deed, with a suicide bid on the part of hairy neighbour as foreplay, and its somehow my fault, suprise suprise. Ex is now, as my dear old Granny would say "like a dying duck in a thunderstorm."

This is more how I view that sort of activity at the moment.

Trying to make a cup of tea this afternoon a mouse shot out of the kitchen drawer. I've filled every hole I can find with plaster and wire wool and will finally have to graduate from traps to poison. It's hard, seeing little rumps with tails disappear like a shot, not to feel that my dogs aren't actually long -haired rats. I'm going to have OCD if I don't get on top of this.

To add further to the gloom, the day started with the police asking me if I knew anything about the dead baby a few doors down. Found that it had been reported in the papers two days ago. Well that's cities for you. Havn't commented before on events at Clapham Common this month. Walking home from where my family live cuts right across the common and I'm always leaving late. Try explaining to gentlemen appearing from bushes that you really are just walking two yorkshire terriers home.

FLEA CIRCUS

"Is there ever a day when nothing is happening in your world?" I ask ex.

The winter sun is glinting through the fountains in the park, and ex and I are sitting on a bench with four dogs/child substitutes circling. I should be happy, even though I'm nearly forty and sitting on a park bench in working hours. "Just think," I said, "a couple of years ago we didn't have any dogs between us."

Just the day before ex and I had been circling the subject of ....................... intimacy. "I refuse to feel any guilt when I know now what you really want is a hairy chav." He mumbles something about spirituality. Plus I was up all night in agony over ex's dodgy prawn cocktail. I had to get out in the middle of my agony to squirt sealant into the skirting board and shut up the gnawing of mice.

This morning I get a call to come over.

The first dog we both looked after [and the first yorkshire terrier], I took over the first time, and then got my two dogs. The ex looked after it the second time it's owner was in hospital, and then after a brief flirtation with three legged "Elvis" got his own dog, a walking coffee table. The dog is in crisis a third time. Apparently her owner, a faded beauty with a painkiller addiction, has been whisked into hospital and her neighbour needed somewhere to dump the dog. I was nearly in tears recently, when in the post office and stood behind faded beauty's much younger Italian heroin addict b. friend and the pitiable remains of a once much-loved dog.

I rush over to ex's as the dog arrives. Ex is determined to keep her despite having to return her after three months when faded beauty came out of the hospital to kick her painkiller addiction, and despite now having his own dog.

"Wouldn't it be better to leave her as she is until someone official has seen her?" We both chicken out, and I still have my qualms about taking someone else's dog [I ran in the road when ex tried that with me] until I see the state of the dogs under carriage. See pic. [I never said this blog was tasteful!]

The dog is covered in flea shit, as well as fleas of every size, seriously underweight and a 'knife and fork' haircut. If ever my dogs look a little frayed around the edges, I always felt shame about how faded beauty used to bath and groom her dog every five minutes, no exaggeration.

I'm giving the dog the works on ex's doorstep, flea spray, trim, and combing out fleas. Neighbour one side said she washes her cats regularly! "I don't care, their in my house." Neighbour other side has just come back from Prague. "Oh, on a photoshoot?" I quip. That's for wondering loudly on the phone whether ex's current lover is the skinny one with two dogs or the fat one in the tracksuit. Cheeky queen! A bath with Boots Coconut and Almond Oil shampoo [my reccomendation, anything else goes sticky after a week] and dog is looking dramatically better. Before you think I'm too camp, I havn't shaved in a week and I'm not sure how fresh my underwear is.

I urge ex to call someone for legal advice, and we go out to the park. I collapse at home after and call round later. Hairy straight neighbour esconced in front room while ex and he try and work out how to get gay movies "on demand" on the cable that took a week of stress to get installed. How helpful. Ex still hasn't rung anyone, despite having millionaire relation high up in some animal charity. "You can just ring up and say you're asking for a friend." Turns out ex is paranoid. "You've got to remember they bugged the phones where I come from." Well, he might not have been arrested for absconding from National Service if he hadn't dyed his hair red!

Dread to think how this is all going to turn out.

Who's Afraid?

I have to say I'm a little bemused at the interest in my "turbulent relationship." If only because Over the last 5 years I must have bored titless everyone I know about the whole matter. It was all a bit too queeny for my liking, and we did get a reputation as being the Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor of the area.

I was going through a particularly trying time with my family a couple of years back, and was stressed out to the max. I had just got my first puppy, and ex was the green eyed monster. "Do you think you could look after him with all that you've got going just now?" My parents lost custody of their children at a very early stage , and it's an area I'm quite sensitive. I'd spent that weekend wrestling a distressed relative to the floor to prevent them discharging themselves, watched on by greek chorus of impassive medics, and as I tried to slip out for another very long day at the hospital I was acosted by ex. I'd already had to leave the puppy on it's own for most of the last few days. I had a mad moment and said I'd given the dog away, anything to get some peice. Ex burst into tears, very rare and completely unexpected on my part. I chase after him and caugth up at our very busy junction, where I'd been run over 6 months before. I tried to comfort him and try and salvage the situation by saying that the dog was still at home waiting to be collected. the crying stopped immediately and he wanted to go and get the dog there and then. I freaked at this point, at the selfishness of everyone I knew, probably including myself, and spent the next five minutes trying to get myself run over. At night times juggernauts hurtle through at top speed, but this was rush hour and standing in front of lorries wasn't going to cut it.

I'll tell you some day how making a cup of tea [an standard occupational test] got me my freedom

Ex and I are speaking a the moment and I was at his place touching up the paintwork today, mainly as a break from a website I am trying to put together. He came home from work with an old polaroid camera with a carton of even older film. As a figurative artist, I'm used to the naked human form, and have roped in friends and even acquaintances to model for various projects, ex included. He's always been a bit nervous of a series of polaroids I took of him a few years ago. "I think it's only fair that I have something on you!" Did feel a bit strange posing myself but what the hell. Well the results were a sort of 70's green sepia, I've lost a lot of weight recently and it all came out a bit Larry Clark.

Ever Wished You Lived A Hundred Years Ago?

This photograph - from amongst all my clutter - was taken in Whitechapel London in the 1870-80's.

Could it be......................... Jack the Ripper?!

This n' That

Came across this as a pattern for some babies booties. It's actually material availiable as coats for greyhounds. [wildthingsforgreyhounds.com]

Saw Derek [Big Brother 6] playing tennis in the park this evening. He was giving out girly squeals each time he hit the ball. I shook my head as I thought, I've seen you doing gymnastics in a mauve leotard.

Spoke to the ex for the first time in ages. Told him about the attention he had recieved recently in this blog. Took it quite well, considering. He'd been sweating that I'd been emailing naked pictures of him to his mother in Cape Town.

Took me a long time to realise, and hence the bitterness, that despite all the growing up with swimming pools and servants, his thing is chavs, ala "Maurice." I'm more the bohemian [Catweazle] type, Hence why I couldn't understand his patience [drooling] over lumpen friend who nearly thumped me for accidentally outing him. Still, coke and syphilis is keeping that one busy, and he recently spent a night in the cells care of the gay domestic police team for trashing the new flat of rich other-half. His straight brother's got a staffie now, with a burberry collar, and seems to have forgotten his experiments with his sexuality. I am begining to realise being well-covered and a cockney accent, plus track suit and cap is the gay equivalent of a dollybird in this neck of the woods.

I have been wracking my brains for an amusing episode, but can't see how to relate the one weekend that sticks in my mind. I enjoyed the attentions of, in the space of 3 days with:- a peado in the loony bin in some mad desire to convert, and a devotee of yellow and brown the evening I was discharged, on the pretext of ex teaching me how to cruise, and trainee teenage rentboy.

I'd gone in to loony bin gibbering at the news that ex was planning a threesome with delivery boy at work, only to recover having my vomit eaten, by making up numbers in said threesome. It was then I realised, looking at the body of a greek god belonging someone of legal, but nearly half my age, that despite the depths of my naivety, I was no longer the young ingenue.

I have in the past been the plaything of men rich, and richer, but I felt this was my cue to bow gracefully off the stage.

[I have considered renaming this blog "Too Much Information," if I only knew how!

Bitter? Moi?

Many thanks to Trashbinder for the link. Still don't know how to rename links, but url is below. Great for downloading obscure tracks.

Hiding out at ancestral pile to get away from baliffs, mice infestation and ebay invoices. Picture is from friends place. I introduced her to ebay in January, and she now has hundreds of cat ornaments covering every surface. Her feedback rating is nearly 400! And you thought ebay was for secondhand mobiles/cellphones and dodgy ipods.

Commenters seemed to enjoy my first post, and as it's been a year, what with forgetting my password, I thought it was time for an update.

Well, havn't seem much of ex since he came over a couple of months ago, and watched internet porn for 5 hours on the trot. I gave a moue of irritation, and had another hour of psychodrama directed at me. Well I did have to get on with my dusting. At least I can forget about having to take Viagra. Forget about strokes, you can't enjoy a post-coital glow, when your nose is completely blocked. [Apparently nasal passages contain erectile tissue. Who knew?]

We could have had alot of fun, though his waiting for a kidney transplant didn't help matters. though I had to draw the line at the "free holiday as drug mules" idea.

I had been hoping that his circling of butch chav neighbour would come to something and help close a chapter. Ex was first point of call when said neighbour's wife was about to give birth. The minute ex's back was turned, he found hairy neighbour propped up in bed starkers. "Do what ever you want." Things is, we all know straight blokes have helium heels when they're in bed with another man, and this bloke was built like a brick shithouse! I think it would shatter ex's illusions re masculinity, and excuses were made and neighbour left. The neighbour's brother's not much cop either, now it's not just coke, but syphilis too. And the cheeky c*** had the cheek to say that ex could do better than me!

Don't think ex really got over an assignation I had in the park, at 2.0am. Well it was during a heatwave, and short of dragging her on her lead, it was the coolest part of the day to walk her. Having appearred out of the bushes, handsome stranger and myself chatted for over an hour about life and art, before I twigged why this he was patting dogs in the park in the middle of the night. Talk about slow on my part. Who said yorkshire terriers were bad for your image?

My psychiatrist has been promoted to post-partum depression, so I will have to wait to see if anyone is prepared to take on my case. Last time I saw my file , they brought it in on a trolley. He looked up my old referral for psychotherapy for something to do:- "subject seems ambivalent about analytic process." I am now, I thought, you greek b****. I hadn't noticed before that his office was just past a sign saying "MENTAL HEALTH CORRIDOR." Well it made me laugh.

I did have a referral to an Occupational Therapist, with an idea to me living on the sale of my sculpture, she even 'googled' me before our first meeting, but her idea of getting things started was to ring the Arts Council! [Sort of the British equivalent of the National Endowment for the Arts.]

Went to a friend's show of her mature students artwork this summer. I was asked what I did and replied, "professional nutter." Couldn't understand the froideur, until I was told that all the students were psychologists/therapists.

Ta ra for now.
