Lovely Ladies
All things 1850's here. They said on the radio yesterday, that the Victorians felt that smiles were only permissable on children and idiots!
Well you've only got a few days to go to scoop up these two lovely ladies. I'm not selling them myself, you understand.
I've provided a circuitous link below.
Anyone know how to rename a link?

A Question.
Can anyone but me actually read this blog?
[Explanatory note. This miniscule plate of leftovers was left out for me one night by my 90 year old Grandmother. The plate was given as a part of a wedding present in 1940. 'Summer Roses' by Paragon. V. popular on ebay. I felt it summed up her fragile but constant love for me still.]

HAS IT BEEN THAT LONG?
Once I was a feature of the world's first theme park, costing millions, visited by King's and Queens.
Since then I've witnessed wars and destruction.
Recently, after having my head glued back on it was used as a football, and my face smashed against a wall.
My classical nudity, no longer divine, is now profane and after 150 years I wait for my oblivion.
Farewell civilization
Farewell.
